Job Description:
The A220 program is looking for a Supplier Quality Conformance Manager (QCM) to join the Supplier QCM team based in Mobile, Alabama, USA. You will work alongside the Operations and Procurement teams and be responsible for ensuring adherence to quality requirements and validating supplier issues raised by operations. The team is organized to promote cross-functional collaboration, work autonomously, support each other, and learn collectively.
The role involves taking necessary contingency actions at suppliers to protect operations from external quality issues while collaborating with internal teams to define production-line issues.
Primary responsibilities and qualifications are listed below.
Primary Responsibilities:

- Influence and facilitate communications between internal and external stakeholders
- Be a change agent to promote a culture of quality throughout the company
- Investigate and identify future risks
- Synthesize simple to complex situations to present to different levels of management
- Communicate and work with different cultures located in different countries
- Be an Airbus representative to A220 suppliers

Education:
- Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Aviation, Engineering, Quality Assurance, or related field preferred
Experience:
- Required:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality assurance, quality control, manufacturing operations, manufacturing engineering/methods, or a similar role within the aviation industry
Licensure/
Certifications:
- Preferred:
Certifications in quality management, aviation safety, or regulatory compliance

Fluent English; effective verbal and written communication in a multicultural and multifunctional environment - Technical Systems Proficiency:
Required – SAP systems and portfolio; MS Office, Google Suite or similar applications - Preferred – Basic IT programming knowledge; analytics
- Possibility of on-call duty during weekends and/or holidays; aware of compliance risks and act with integrity
- Decision making within guidelines and procedures; delegated power from Head of Quality Assurance; SME within defined scope
The QCM will report locally in Mobile to the AAPIL and functionally to the ABPO organization in Mirabel.
