** to join our A220 team based
** in Mobile, AL.
** The Quality Inspector is responsible for the execution and confirmation of quality inspections as part of the production process with an emphasis on the aircraft cabin and structures components.

**** On ‘Airbus Way’ you will find the Airbus U.S. Manufacturing Facility for commercial aircraft. Opened at the Mobile Aeroplex at Brookley in 2015, the facility produces A320 Family aircraft and added a second product line for the A220 in 2019. The facility, which strengthens the U.S. aerospace industry, is part of Airbus’ strategy to enhance its global competitiveness by meeting the growing needs of its customers in the United States and beyond.

**** Your challenges:
***** Execute technical inspections in the production process of the aircraft in the context of the authorization of manufacturer operation.
* Prepare and perform visual, incoming, first article, final inspections during aircraft manufacture for compliance for compliance with design specifications, customers and certification requirements.
* Document the technical inspections performed in the production orders SAP-based and the relevant SAL-based IT systems by inspection marks and complete other aircraft documents as well as prepare first article inspection reports.
* Support troubleshooting and participate in Quality Survey requests.
* Compile all technical data of non-conformance in order to launch the SAP-based quality discrepancy sheets for the professional assessment in accordance with the manufacturing engineering documentation.
* Document all the results of the technical inspector in the SAP based IT system.
**** Your boarding pass:
***** High school diploma or GED.
* FAA Airframe & Powerplant License including inspection authorization is preferred.
* 3 years of experience as a Quality Inspector in an aviation company with an emphasis on cabin/structures components and assemblies.
* Previous experience as an avionics technician is highly desirable.
* Airline experience is also desirable.
