Merchandiser Sales Associate-Mobile Alabama

The purpose of this position is to help and enhance Alabama Crown's presence in retail outlets, regarding customer service (i.e. stocking inventory, communicating with management, and ensuring optimum product condition).

Merchandiser will also travel to various customer locations to stock product, clean and maintain shelving, build displays, place advertising material and other duties as assigned.

Must be at least 21 years of age.

Must have high school diploma or GED equivalent.

Must be able to lift at least 45lbs. occasionally/frequently to build displays and stock shelves with product.

Knowledge of similar industry is preferred.

Must have good people/communication skills and willingness to work with store owners, managers and sales reps.

Must be able to push, pull and carry cases of product (i.e. building displays and stocking shelves).

Must be able to work long & flexible hours.

Must possess a valid Alabama driver's license.

Must have reliable transportation and the ability to maintain 100/300/100 insurance limitations.

Motor vehicle record will be pulled to establish employment eligibility

Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record:

• Cannot have more than two (2): moving violations and/or at-fault vehicle accidents (any combination) in the past three (3) years (for speeding, violations must be under 16mph)
• Cannot have more than one (1): speeding violation of 16-29mph OR at-fault accident in the past three (3) years
• Cannot have a major violation such as: DUI/DWI, hit-and-run, reckless driving, and/or super speeder (29+mph) violation in the past five (5) years

Background checks (i.e. Police backgrounds, reference checks)
