As a Clinical Specialist, you will support the Medtronic Pelvic Health group in surgical coverage, follow‑up, customer service and education across a designated territory. This is a field‑based role required to reside within the territory and travel to multiple accounts. A valid driver’s license is essential.

Responsibilities
  • Represent Medtronic Pelvic Health during surgeries and implants by providing all necessary equipment and products, demonstrating expertise in device selection, programming, implantation, and testing.
  • Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of assigned products and services and competitor offerings.
  • Proactively identify needs and educate caregivers and account personnel on product and therapy applications.
  • Educate and train physicians, hospital staff, and office personnel through one‑on‑one sessions, in‑service programs, seminars and symposiums.
  • Assist district manager and training department with training new employees (therapy consultants, clinical specialists, field clinical engineers, etc.).
  • Provide sales support during or after cases, including documentation (implant registration, temporary , packing lists) and invoicing; place orders with customer service for purchase orders and product replacements.
  • Maintain open, effective communication with district personnel, customers, and Medtronic employees.
  • Contribute to milestones for regional and/or national projects.
  • Understand and follow all applicable quality policies and system requirements.
  • Follow all work/quality procedures to ensure compliance and high‑quality work.
  • Perform other related activities as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED and a minimum of 6 years of patient care/clinical experience; or
  • Associate’s Degree and a minimum of 4 years of patient care/clinical experience; or
  • Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 2 years of patient care/clinical experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree.
  • Clinical skill and knowledge (e.g., performing simple trials, implant and/or refill pumps).
  • Experience with implantable neuromodulation products and stimulation.
  • Experience servicing medical personnel on product use.
  • Experience in a specialty area such as urology, surgery, RN, neurology, neurosurgery, orthopedics, OR, or home health care.
  • Strong communication skills with sales and healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to coach others on product usage and clinical applications.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize under pressure.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Driver and Travel Requirements

Valid driver’s license and active vehicle insurance policy are required. A driving record will be reviewed. Must drive approximately 50% of the time within the territory and may require overnight travel.

U.S. Work Authorization & Sponsorship

Accreditation is required for roles below Principal level. Candidates must possess unrestricted U.S. work authorization at the time of hire.

Benefits & Compensation

Base salary range: $76,000.00 – $ (USD). Eligible for a Sales Incentive Plan (SIP). Benefits include health, dental, vision insurance, HSA, FSA, life insurance, long‑term disability leave, dependent daycare spending account, tuition assistance, and a 401(k) plan with employer match.
