Job Overview

Mobile Associates, Store‑in‑Store are an integral part of the Retail Team responsible for bringing the T‑Mobile brand to life within National Sales partner locations. They create energy and excitement around products and services, engaging customers, identifying needs, and recommending solutions. Mobile Associates exceed performance targets by excelling in sales, providing exceptional customer experiences, and meeting quality of sale metrics.

Job Responsibilities
  • Proactively engage a broad range of customers in a high‑traffic retail environment, using digital tools and effective communication to educate and showcase the value of T‑Mobile solutions.
  • Consistently leverage digital self‑serve tools during customer interactions and the onboarding process to recommend wireless solutions and help customers understand how to self‑serve and use the T‑Mobile app.
  • Complete training on the T‑Mobile in‑store experience, new skills, products and processes; review personal results, current promotions, and updates on the Hub to remain Customer Ready; partner with nearby stores for onboarding and observe operating procedures.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, build rapport, trust, and loyalty; proactively reach out to potential customers, follow up, capture referrals, and manage “Be Back” processes; perform price overrides for specialty offers.
  • Build relationships with nearby leadership and teams to support the customer experience from account set‑up through device support and account servicing.
Education and Work Experience
  • High School Diploma/GED (Required)
  • 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience in a retail environment (Preferred)

Compensation

Hourly Base Pay: $18.00, plus $5.00 per hour training pay. Within the first 90 days, Mobile Associates receive on‑the‑job training and are eligible for hourly training pay. After completion, promotion to Mobile Expert and eligibility for an annualized incentive target of $18,000/year.
