Sales Development Representative – Full Time / Non‑Exempt – Huntsville, Remote – Salary $50,000‑$70,000 + Commission Incentive (Variable Compensation at OTE: $20,000).

Summary:

Join our fast‑paced and growing team as a Sales Development Representative (SDR). No extensive experience required – just a strong work ethic, a desire to learn, and a drive to succeed.

As an SDR, you’ll focus on identifying potential customers, uncovering their needs, gathering information, and taking clear, detailed notes from your interactions. You’ll cross‑compare those needs with our offerings and triage qualified leads to the appropriate Sales Representatives. Most of your outreach will be through email, with some calls, face‑to‑face meetings, and occasional travel for trade shows.

We offer a structured 60‑day onboarding and training program designed to help you ramp up confidently and effectively. We’re looking for someone with a growth mindset who is hungry to learn sales methodology and excited about increasing their earnings potential.

Core Responsibilities:
  • Qualify inbound marketing leads and conduct outbound prospecting through email, phone, and Linked In.
  • Set sales‑qualified appointments for Account Executives based on prospect needs.
  • Research and identify potential customers; verify and update contact information.
  • Track and document activity in CRM software (e.g., contacts, communications, and lead status).
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to refine messaging and improve outreach strategies.
  • Stay current on industry trends, competitors, and market conditions.
  • Attend trade shows and networking events to support lead generation efforts.
  • Provide regular updates on pipeline progress and sales metrics to management.
Job Specifications –

Required:
  • 0‑1 years of experience in sales, customer service, or a related field.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self‑motivated with the ability to learn and apply sales techniques.
  • Comfortable conducting outreach via email, phone, and virtual or in‑person meetings.
  • Basic understanding of CRM systems (e.g., Hub Spot, Salesforce) or willingness to learn.
Optional/

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in B2B environments or technology‑related industries.
  • Familiarity with SaaS or IT services.
  • Exposure to Linked In prospecting or sales automation tools.
  • Microsoft Fundamentals Certification.
  • Understanding of sales pipelines and lead qualification processes.
Incentive Structure:
Salary + Commission

This is a Performance‑Based Opportunity:
As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you’ll have the opportunity to earn competitive commissions based on your performance. Our commission structure is designed to reward your success in driving leads and opportunities for our sales team. Performance is assessed every 90 days. Here’s a breakdown of key metrics used to determine success in this role:

  • Sales‑qualified leads – appointments set with the sales team.
  • Opportunity created – appointments converted to opportunities.
  • Closed/Won opportunities.
