Job Overview
We’re looking for a Territory Manager to work with a Clinical Diabetes Sales Specialist to bring our innovative insulin pump therapy to patients and providers in the South Alabama & Florida Panhandle region (Mobile, Dothan & Montgomery, AL and Pensacola, Destin, Panama City, FL). This field‑based role involves strategic business planning and customer identification to grow the territory, build strong relationships, and help people living with diabetes thrive.
ResponsibilitiesAs a Territory Manager, you’ll:
- Drive business growth by creating and executing smart territory plans.
- Spot opportunities, open doors, and build lasting partnerships with healthcare professionals (MDs, DOs, RNs, CDEs, RPhs, etc.) to create value.
- Leverage advanced sales methodologies—including the Challenger Selling Model and Strategic Account Management—to demonstrate value and accelerate revenue growth.
- Deliver product education and ongoing support to providers, patients, and clinical educators.
- Represent Tandem at events, conventions, and community outreach.
- Keep your territory organized with accurate CRM tracking and timely reporting.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth sales and customer experiences.
- Ensure compliance with company policies including Privacy/HIPAA and other regulatory, legal, and safety requirements.
What you’ll need:
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) plus 3+ years of industry sales experience, preferably in diabetes, endocrinology, insulin infusion pumps, or managed care.
- Ability to travel up to 80% within the territory; valid driver’s license, insurance, and good driving record required.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
- Strong communication, relationship‑building, and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, evolving market.
Base pay ranges from $91,890 to $112,310 annually, with a target earning potential of $166,890 to $187,310 annually. In addition to base pay, Tandem offers a competitive compensation package and a robust benefits package including medical, dental, vision, health savings accounts, flexible spending accounts, 11 paid holidays, a minimum of 20 days of paid time off (starting in year1), and a 401(k) plan with company match.
