The Associate Field Service Engineer in Mobile, Alabama is a full-time, role responsible for supporting the maintenance, and repair of Elekta radiation therapy equipment. the role includes but not limited to, performing diagnostic assessments, troubleshooting technical issues, and coordinating repairs to ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently. The role also involves conducting preventive maintenance, calibrations, and system checks in accordance with company standards and regulatory requirements.

The engineer will provide technical support to clinical teams, clearly communicate service updates, and document all work performed. This position also requires partnering with internal teams to elevate complex issues and contribute to continuous improvement of service processes.

• Strong field service capabilities, including hands-on work with complex medical or technical equipment.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and diagnostic methods to identify and resolve equipment faults.
• Experience providing technical support, including clear communication of technical information to non-technical users.
• Skill in performing preventive maintenance, calibrations, and routine equipment inspections.
• Demonstrated customer service skills, with a focus on empathy, professionalism, and timely issue resolution.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in engineering, electronics, biomedical technology, or a related field, or equivalent military/technical training.
• Ability to read technical documentation, use test instruments, and follow safety and regulatory guidelines.
• Willingness to work in clinical environments, adhere to infection control practices, and occasionally lift or move equipment components.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally or regionally as required for service assignments.
• Previous experience in healthcare technology, medical devices, or radiation therapy systems is beneficial.
