As a Security Officer - Visitor Check-In in Mobile, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Allied Universal Security Officer assigned to a busy logistics and distribution location, you will manage access control at key entry points, greet drivers and team members, verify credentials, and document activity.

What You'll Do:

* Provide customer service to the client by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.

* Control access at entry points by verifying identification, issuing temporary credentials, maintaining visitor and vehicle logs, and directing deliveries and pickups according to site protocols.

* Monitor security-related systems such as cameras, alarms, and access control panels, and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy violations through required channels.

* Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications to site leadership and emergency services as directed.

* Conduct regular and random patrols of docks, yards, warehouse areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.

Minimum Requirements:

* A guard card/license is preferred.

* Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
