Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic port location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. ** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to visitors, employees, drivers, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a port and terminal location.

+ Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and reporting unusual activity to site leadership.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, gates, parking areas, docks, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify maintenance and/or security-related concerns.

+ Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and assist with controlling access for personnel, deliveries, and vehicles in accordance with site protocols.

+ Communicate with supervisors, local contacts, and/or emergency responders as needed while supporting daily operations and helping to maintain order throughout the location.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + Possess a TSA issued TWIC.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
