, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As a Part‑Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol professional at a dynamic port location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help reduce security‑related incidents. You will deliver strong customer service and communication while supporting daily operations with teamwork, integrity, and a caring, reliable approach in a fast‑moving environment.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour

Job Schedule: Friday: 06:30 AM - 04:30 PM;
Saturday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM;
Sunday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

• Provide customer service by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities across the location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, and report observations according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of grounds, buildings, perimeter areas, access points, and/or operational zones where working conditions may vary throughout the location.
• Monitor entry and exit activity for personnel, visitors, and/or authorized vehicles, helping to support access control procedures and documenting relevant information as needed.
• Observe cargo, equipment, and/or restricted areas for suspicious or unauthorized activity, helping to deter policy violations and escalating concerns to the appropriate contacts.

• Possess a valid TSA issued TWIC.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
