What You'll Do- Provide customer service to all persons at the location by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and authorization for employees, visitors, contractors, and/or deliveries, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
- Screen visitors and vehicles in accordance with location protocols, document arrivals and departures, and communicate access-related issues to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, and complete clear reports on security‑related concerns, policy violations, and/or unusual activity.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around access points, operational areas, and the perimeter of the location, noting conditions that could impact security‑related operations.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
