B.L. Harbert International is seeking a Mechanical Superintendent with expertise in pipe-fitting and plumbing for projects in various overseas locations. The candidate must be able to work with crews from diverse backgrounds and nationalities. Ideal candidates will have extensive knowledge of mechanical methods, practices, and procedures. The superintendent will provide guidance to field supervisors and craft employees, manage work performance and productivity to meet deadlines, and serve as a liaison between senior management, field supervision, craft workers, and TCN employees.

• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance through the US Government
• Willingness to relocate overseas for 2-4 years

• Ability to work effectively with diverse trades, backgrounds, and cultures
• Knowledge of building and installation codes
• Understanding of diagrams and blueprints
• Commitment to safety regulations and maintaining a safe environment

• Supervision or management experience for at least 5 years
• 10 years of experience in fire sprinkler, plumbing, or mechanical commercial/industrial piping

• Ability to layout, fabricate, install, and test piping systems
• Experience with pipefitter tools such as threading, grooving, welding, brazing, soldering, etc.
• Capability to manage piping materials effectively

• Instrumentation and controls experience
• Mechanical piping experience including meters, valves, supports, heat tracing, vibration controls, etc.
• Plumbing experience including meters, valves, piping, fixtures, etc.
• Fire sprinkler piping experience per NFPA standards
