We are seeking an experienced and dependable Diesel Mechanic to join our dealership and repair shop specializing in Class 8/ 18-wheeler trucks . This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy-duty trucks to ensure safety, reliability, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on 18-wheelers

Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, and steering systems

Service DOT inspections and ensure vehicles meet safety regulations

Troubleshoot and repairing electrical systems, sensors, and onboard diagnostics

Perform oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks

Use diagnostic software and tools to identify and resolve issues

Maintain accurate service records and repair documentation

Follow shop safety procedures and manufacturer guidelines

Communicate repair needs and timelines with service advisors or customers

Proven experience as a diesel mechanic working on heavy-duty trucks

Strong knowledge of diesel engines and truck systems

Ability to read and interpret diagnostic data and repair manuals

Familiarity with DOT regulations and inspections

Valid driver’s license (CDL a plus but not required)

Reliable, detail-oriented, and safety-focused

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working in a truck dealership or fleet repair shop

CDL Class A or B
