* Job Summary:

** The Operator at Primoris Services Corporation is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of various heavy equipment and machinery used in construction, utility, or industrial projects. This role involves performing a range of tasks from excavation and grading to material handling and equipment maintenance, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and project specifications.

Job Responsibilities:

* * Operate a variety of heavy equipment, including but not limited to excavators, bulldozers, loaders, backhoes, trenchers, and forklifts, in a safe and productive manner.  
* Perform pre-operation and post-operation checks on equipment, ensuring proper fluid levels, tire pressure, and overall mechanical soundness.  
* Conduct routine maintenance tasks on equipment, such as lubrication, cleaning, and minor adjustments, and report any major malfunctions or repair needs to the supervisor.  
* Read and interpret blueprints, grade stakes, and other project documentation to ensure accurate and efficient execution of tasks.  
* Excavate, backfill, grade, and compact earth and other materials according to project plans and specifications.  
* Load and unload materials and equipment from trucks and other transport vehicles.  
* Work collaboratively with other crew members, supervisors, and project managers to ensure project goals are met.  
* Adhere strictly to all company safety policies, procedures, and OSHA regulations.  
* Maintain a clean and organized work area and equipment.  
* Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Job Qualifications:

*
* * High school diploma or equivalent.  
* Minimum of 2-5 years of experience operating heavy equipment in a construction, utility, or industrial setting.  
* Proven ability to safely and efficiently operate multiple types of heavy equipment.  
* Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; CDL may be required for some positions.  
* Knowledge of equipment operation, maintenance, and basic troubleshooting.  
* Ability to read and interpret construction plans, grade stakes, and other project documents.  
* Strong understanding and commitment to safety procedures and regulations.  
* Physical ability to perform manual labor, lift heavy objects, and work in various weather conditions.  
* Good communication and teamwork skills.  
* Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
