Overview
The Electro-Mechanical Technician Level 2 is responsible for day‑to‑day troubleshooting and preventative/predictive maintenance of material handling equipment at the Mobile, Alabama site. The role is a first‑shift, on‑call position (6:00am‑2:00pm, Monday‑Friday).
What You Will Do- Repair and maintain material handling equipment, including belt tracking, component adjustment/replacement, and lubrication.
- Perform preventative maintenance routines, documentation, and procedures.
- Build and close work orders in the asset management system with labor hours, parts used, and other required data.
- Diagnose basic conveyance problems and use available resources to resolve them.
- Locate and supervise spare parts from inventory.
- Respond to semi‑complex service calls and rectify equipment failures and faults.
- Identify problems as they occur and take appropriate steps to address them.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships across all levels of the organization.
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training is helpful.
- Ability to lift up to 50pounds and push/pull wheeled dollies with up to 100pounds.
- Functional dexterity in both hands and wrists; ability to climb ladders and gangways safely.
- Comfortable with small spaces, dust, fumes, hot/cold temperatures, noise, vibration, standing on concrete for up to 10–12hours.
- Flexibility to cover additional shifts and holiday hours as needed.

The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $24.00 to $29.50 an hour at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.
