Location: Mobile, AL

Pay: $28/hour

Experience:

Experience in metalworking, machining, welding, marine service, or mechanical repair.

Previous experience in propeller repair, propeller shops, or marine propulsion.

Type: Full-time;
Contract

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00am to 4:00pm

Clark Personnel is seeking a Propeller Repair Technician to join a growing and dynamic team!

Job Description:

Inspect incoming propellers for damage, wear, cracks, bends, distortions, and balance issues.

Repair bent blades, dents, and edge damage using specialized tools and equipment.

Correct and calibrate propeller pitch to OEM specifications.

Balance propellers using static and dynamic balancing equipment.

Perform welding (aluminum, stainless steel, bronze) and grinding operations as needed.

Use pitch blocks, laser measurement systems, and other diagnostic tools to ensure accuracy.

Document repair findings, work performed, and final specifications.

Test and verify completed repairs for quality, performance, and safety.

Communicate professionally with team members and occasionally with customers regarding repair needs or recommendations.

Maintain a clean and organized workshop.

Position Requirements:

Strong attention to detail and precision workmanship.

Ability to lift and handle propellers of varying sizes and weights.

Familiarity with measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, pitch blocks, etc.).

Problem‑solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
