Aircraft Maintenance Technician (A&P)
Sirius Talent Solutions is partnering with an industry-leading aerospace and defense organization to identify an experienced Aircraft Maintenance Technician (A&P). This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly skilled maintenance team supporting advanced aircraft operations in a stable, long-term environment.
Location:
Mobile, AL
Schedule:
- Monday–Friday
- 6:00 AM – 3:30 PM or 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
- Occasional overtime as needed

The Aircraft Maintenance Technician is responsible for repairing, servicing, inspecting, troubleshooting, and maintaining aircraft systems in accordance with FAA regulations and approved maintenance procedures. This role plays a critical part in ensuring aircraft safety, reliability, and airworthiness while maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance.
Responsibilities- Perform aircraft maintenance in accordance with FAA-approved data and company procedures.
- Troubleshoot, repair, service, and maintain aircraft systems and components.
- Complete maintenance documentation accurately and in compliance with FAA requirements.
- Read and interpret technical manuals, drawings, and maintenance instructions.
- Utilize proper tooling and ensure calibrated equipment is used when required.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
- Participate in required training and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support the production of safe and airworthy aircraft.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Current FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License.
- Prior avionics experience.
- 5–10 years of general aviation aircraft maintenance experience.
- Ability to read and interpret FAA-approved technical data and maintenance manuals.
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills.
- U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident (Green Card Holder).
- Training in Airframe & Powerplant with an emphasis on Structures and Composites.
- Turboprop aircraft experience.
- Military or defense aviation maintenance experience.
- Bilingual in Spanish.
- Ability to stand, walk, kneel, squat, climb, and work in confined spaces.
- Manual dexterity to safely operate tools and maintenance equipment.
- Ability to work in a safety-sensitive environment.
