* Job Summary:
** As an Electrical and Instrumentation Technician, you will play a vital role in our operations by delivering technical services for a range of electrical and instrumentation assignments. You will utilize both theoretical knowledge and practical skills to troubleshoot and maintain essential equipment, all while working under direct supervision.
*
* Key Responsibilities:
** In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for:
* Safely and professionally removing, installing, cleaning, calibrating, maintaining, and troubleshooting various electrical and instrumentation equipment, including transmitters, transducers, meters, relays, switches, and control systems.
* Diagnosing and resolving electrical and instrumentation issues, working on equipment such as switchgears, control panels, control valves, transformers, motor starters, and UPS systems.
* Operating industrial equipment, including forklifts and man lifts, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
* Maintaining pneumatic and motor-operated valves and actuators.
* Reading and interpreting electrical, pneumatic, piping, and instrumentation diagrams to enhance workflow and efficiency.
** Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
** The ideal candidate will possess:
* In-depth knowledge of plant equipment, particularly transmitters and control valves.
* Familiarity with motor controls and lighting circuits.
* Working knowledge of voltages up to 600V.
* An understanding of environmental regulations to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
* Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Awareness of electrical arc flash and shock hazards (NFPA 70E) with the ability to select appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

* Physical Requirements:
*** Ability to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods.
* Capable of lifting and carrying loads over 25 lbs.
* Proficient in using hands and arms for handling, installing, and positioning materials and equipment.
* Comfortable climbing ladders and performing tasks at elevated heights while utilizing safety harnesses.
* Able to navigate multiple flights of stairs while carrying equipment.
* Willingness to work outdoors or in process units in varying weather conditions.
* Ability to work in confined spaces for extended durations while wearing necessary personal protective equipment.
