Mainenance Electrician

SLB is seeking a proactive  
** Maintenance Electrician
** to join our team in  
** Mobile, Alabama** . In this role, you will maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical equipment and control systems that support safe and reliable operations. You will play a key role in equipment uptime by performing preventive maintenance, supporting installations, and ensuring compliance with applicable electrical and safety standards.

We are looking for someone who enjoys hands-on problem-solving, works well in a team environment, and takes pride in maintaining high operational and safety standards. This position offers the opportunity to contribute directly to facility reliability and continuous improvement initiatives.

** Roles and Responsibilities*
* + Inspect, test, maintain, and repair electrical equipment and systems.

+ Troubleshoot electrical, motor control, and contactor control issues to minimize downtime.

+ Install and modify electrical equipment, wiring, and components to support operational requirements.

+ Interpret blueprints, schematics, equipment manuals, and work orders to perform maintenance activities.

+ Maintain compliance with electrical codes, company policies, and safety requirements.

+ Document maintenance activities and equipment repairs accurately.

+ Communicate equipment conditions and replacement needs to management.

+ Collaborate with maintenance personnel to support safe and efficient operations.

** Qualifications and Experience*
* + High school diploma or equivalent required.

+ Completion of an electrical apprenticeship preferred.

+ Journeyman Card required.

+ Certification as an Electrical Technician is an asset.

+ Proven experience in electrical maintenance within an industrial or commercial environment.

+ Knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, motor controls, and industrial troubleshooting practices.

+ Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation.

+ Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and commitment to safety.

+ Physical ability to lift equipment and climb stairs as required.

+ Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
