REEL USA has an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Instrumentation, Electrical, & Automation Technician with knowledge, skills, and experience to perform highly diversified duties to safely install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain aircraft support, production, and facility equipment according to predictive and productive maintenance processes for the Final Assembly Line (FAL) located within Airbus. All work tasks are performed in a safe manner while following plant policies and procedures.
The Technician will work on-site at the Mobile, AL location.

How Will You Make an ImpactIn this role, your primary duty will be to install and maintain aerospace ground equipment, production machines, jigs, tools and the plant facility’s equipment. This role requires a safety mind-set, self-motivated person with a positive attitude, a ton of good energy, and effective time management. A successful candidate will be someone who can:
- Work in a safe manner. Actively participates in REEL's safety, health, and environmental programs. Attends scheduled team meetings and completes safety training requirements. Keeps work area safe and clean.
- Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production support equipment.
- Performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production support equipment during ongoing operations and use of such equipment.
- Perform technical skills including, but not limited to: start up, electrical testing, cabling, troubleshooting a wide variety of manufacturing equipment.
- Perform technical skills including, but not limited to, electrical, automation, instruments, troubleshooting and repair of production specialized equipment.
- Read and interpret PLC programs, equipment manuals, electrical and mechanical drawings, and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
- Create work instructions and document the “how to.”
- Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and adjust,
- Use a variety of hand and power tools, multi-meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties,
- Detect and document faulty operations, defective materials, and report such defects and any unusual situations to proper supervision using the “Intervention Sheet” form.
- Effectively communicate through telephone and email to ensure all administrative tasks are completed accurately and delivered with high quality in a timely manner.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
