Mainenance Electrician

SLB is seeking a proactive Maintenance Electrician to join our team in Mobile, Alabama
. In this role, you will maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical equipment and control systems that support safe and reliable operations. You will play a key role in equipment uptime by performing preventive maintenance, supporting installations, and ensuring compliance with applicable electrical and safety standards.

We are looking for someone who enjoys hands-on problem-solving, works well in a team environment, and takes pride in maintaining high operational and safety standards. This position offers the opportunity to contribute directly to facility reliability and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Inspect, test, maintain, and repair electrical equipment and systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical, motor control, and contactor control issues to minimize downtime.
• Install and modify electrical equipment, wiring, and components to support operational requirements.
• Interpret blueprints, schematics, equipment manuals, and work orders to perform maintenance activities.
• Maintain compliance with electrical codes, company policies, and safety requirements.
• Document maintenance activities and equipment repairs accurately.
• Communicate equipment conditions and replacement needs to management.
• Collaborate with maintenance personnel to support safe and efficient operations.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of an electrical apprenticeship preferred.
• Journeyman Card required.
• Certification as an Electrical Technician is an asset.
• Proven experience in electrical maintenance within an industrial or commercial environment.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, motor controls, and industrial troubleshooting practices.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and commitment to safety.
• Physical ability to lift equipment and climb stairs as required.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
