Apprentice Service Technician

• Perform preventative maintenance on intrusion, video, access control, fire, and integrated systems
• Test, inspect, and clean equipment including DVRs and video devices
• Inspect, test, and replace wireless and control panel batteries
• Ensure access control devices operate properly
• Test and inspect intrusion points, communication and backup signals
• Test, inspect, and clean vaults, safes, ATMs, DVRs, and video devices
• Clean and focus video cameras
• Document inspections and complete checklists for preventative maintenance calls
• Ensure all points are tested and restored
• Verify alarm signals have been received
• Contact customers to schedule calls and provide estimated arrival times
• Escalate problems and communicate serious issues to appropriate team members
• Accurately report preventative maintenance service ticket data
• Interact professionally with customers to foster positive customer relations
• Maintain communication with mentors and team members
• Organize and manage truck stock parts and tools
• Attend in-person and virtual training courses
• Complete weekly status reports, evaluations, and testing
• Perform additional duties as assigned
