Service Repair Technician - Plumbing & ElectricalWe are seeking an experienced and dependable Service Repair Technician to provide residential and commercial plumbing, electrical, and general repair services. Appliance-repair experience is a major plus. Candidates with garage-door installation and repair experience are strongly encouraged to apply.
Primary Responsibilities- Diagnose and repair common plumbing and electrical problems
- Install, replace, and service hot-water heaters
- Install and replace garbage disposals
- Repair faucets, toilets, drains, pipes, fixtures, switches, outlets, lighting, and related systems
- Troubleshoot service issues and recommend appropriate repairs
- Perform preventive maintenance and general property repairs
- Clearly explain repair needs and completed work to customers
- Maintain accurate service records and job documentation
- Follow all safety requirements, building codes, and company procedures
- Maintain a clean and professional work area
- Residential or commercial appliance repair
- Garage-door installation, maintenance, and repair
- HVAC, facilities maintenance, or general handyman experience
- Proven plumbing and electrical service or maintenance experience
- Must be able to install hot-water heaters and garbage disposals
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and complete assignments efficiently
- Professional appearance and strong customer-service skills
- Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, ladders, and testing equipment
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 75 pounds
- Plumbing, electrical, appliance-repair, or other trade certifications are but not required
Compensation will be based on experience, certifications, and the range of services the candidate can perform.
