[Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm]

• Supervise, coordinate, monitor, and participate in the administration of the Family Haven shelter. Supervise and participate in case work performed by program staff ensuring compliance with program policies and procedures.
• Prepare reports, develop and write grant applications and documentation.
• Plan, schedule, and supervise the work of program personnel.
• Train and instruct employees in the proper methods to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with program policies and procedures.
• Interview clients requesting assistance to determine client eligibility for assistance based on program guidelines and restrictions. Develop intake and case plans for client.
• Build and maintain professional working relationships with community agencies. Attend community meetings to educate the community about the program.

• Limited amount of physical effort required (walking, standing, lifting, carrying light objects less than 25 lbs) 5-10% of work time.
• Work requires performance of duties in social services environments where exposure to communicable and infectious diseases is possible.

• Bachelor’s degree from accredited college or university in Social Work or related field.
• Two (2) years progressively responsible experience performing social services work with at least one year in supervisory capacity.
• Any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

• Valid Driver License
