Schedule:

Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

• Supervise, coordinate, monitor and participate in the administration of the Family Haven shelter. Oversee case work performed by program staff, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures. Prepare reports, develop and write grant applications and documentation.
• Plan, schedule, and supervise the work of program personnel. Train and instruct employees in proper methods to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with program policies and procedures.
• Interview clients seeking assistance to determine eligibility based on program guidelines and restrictions. Develop intake and case plans for each client.
• Build and maintain professional working relationships with community agencies. Attend community meetings to educate the public about the program.
• Confer with supervisor on budgetary issues and provide input on the program budget.

Limited physical effort associated with walking, standing, lifting, and carrying light objects (less than 25 lbs) 5–10% of work time. Duties performed in social services environments with possible exposure to communicable and infectious diseases.

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Social Work or related field.
• Two (2) years of progressively responsible experience performing social services work, including at least one year in a supervisory capacity.
• Or an equivalent combination of training and experience providing the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Valid Driver License.
