Asphalt Distributor Operator- Mobile, AL

This position requires a CDL license with tanker endorsement.

• Must have a current CDL license (preferably with tanker endorsement) and the ability to learn how to operate an Asphalt Distributor truck.
• Set spray bar on manual, automatic, or semi‑automatic distributors for applying liquid asphalt.
• Oil, grease, service, and make normal operating adjustments to equipment.
• Operate equipment in an efficient working condition, performing minor servicing and maintenance or referring major problems to the supervisor.
• Perform related duties such as shovel work, setting string line, and adding or removing screed extensions.
• Pass DOT physical/drug screen.

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
