Asphalt Distributor Operator - Mobile, AL

• Must have a current CDL license, preferably with Tanker endorsement, and the ability to learn how to operate an Asphalt Distributor Truck.
• Set spray bar on manual, automatic, or semi-automatic distributors for applying liquid asphalt.
• Oil, grease, service, and make normal operating adjustments to equipment.
• Responsible for efficient working condition of the equipment and expected to perform minor servicing and maintenance, or refer major problems to the supervisor.
• Perform related duties such as shovel work, setting string line, adding or removing screed extensions.
• Must pass DOT physical and drug screen.
• Job duties described herein are not exhaustive and may be supplemented.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

The position will operate the Asphalt Distributor on Road Construction projects.
