Driver
Lab Corp is seeking a Courier to join our team in Mobile, AL. The route covers client sites in Mobile, Saraland, Bay Minette, Daphne, Fairhope, and Foley.
Work schedule:
Monday– Friday 3:30pm– 12:30pm, with overtime pay for holidays.
- Load all necessary supplies needed for daily pickups
- Complete the daily pickup schedule in a timely manner
- Deliver all daily pickups to the branch at the end of the shift
- Handle all specimens and lab samples safely and efficiently
- Safely operate a company vehicle and obey all traffic laws
- Utilize a handheld electronic device to manage daily pickups
- Work directly with the dispatcher for additional pickups as needed
- Evaluate traffic patterns, alternative routes, and weather conditions as needed
- Minimum Qualifications: No education or experience required
- Preferred Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED or equivalent
- 1 year or more of driver or courier experience
- 1 year or more of customer service experience
- Very punctual with strong time‑management skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to problem‑solve customer issues
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record
- Be at least 21 years old
A company vehicle will be provided for the route. For an additional $125 per month, the vehicle may be taken home for personal use.
