Airbus US Manufacturing Facility is looking for a Flight Test Dispatcher II to join our Final Assembly Line based in Mobile, AL. In this fast-paced operational environment, there is no day similar to the next. The Flight Test Dispatcher is a self‑starter who is able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Our Engineers at the Airbus U.S. Manufacturing facility take our aircraft from concept to customer delivery—working with production teams on every aspect of assembly from managing technical information, quality control, maintenance tasks and health & safety along flowlines and flight lines. Your Working EnvironmentNearby on ‘Airbus Way’ you will find the Airbus U.S. Manufacturing Facility for commercial aircraft. Opened at the Mobile Aeroplex at Brookley in 2015, the facility produces A320 Family aircraft and added a second product line for the A220 in 2019. The facility strengthens the U.S. aerospace industry and is part of Airbus’ strategy to enhance its global competitiveness by meeting the growing needs of its customers in the United States and beyond.

- Dispatch A220/A320/A321 test flights in accordance with FAA/TCCA/EASA regulations while complying with Airbus Flight Test policies and procedures.
- Provide detailed Flight Test crew member briefings (including Customer crews) with weather, ATC flight plan, NOTAMS, atmospheric conditions affecting aircraft communications, and airspace concerns (SUA, ATC capacity, TFR information).
- Resource planning and crew scheduling to include all stakeholders to efficiently provide support for A220 & A320 programs. Following the Airbus value of “We Are One.”
- Manage TSA waiver program for both A220 & A320 programs and Customer Experience team.
- Support Sustainability initiatives to increase Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) usage during production Flight Test events and tracking of Sustainability Key Performance Indicators.
- Airport liaison for Airbus to cultivate relationships with Mobile Airport Authorities (MAA) and Air Traffic Control (ATC).
- Airbus Logbook (ALB) administration.
- Safety Management System (SMS) delegate of 1V for Flight Test OPS Mobile.
- Develop and maintain dispatch guidelines, operating procedures, and training procedures.
- Organize and oversee Flight OPS planning meetings.
- Annually evaluate aircraft evacuation locations for severe weather events such as hurricanes.
