This is a skilled position requiring at least one year of related experience. The driver will deliver all types of soils, aggregates and other materials to residential and commercial locations. The position requires the ability to perform pre- and post-trip inspections, perform routine maintenance such as oiling and greasing, and make normal operating adjustments to the truck. The role also involves lifting/moving transported materials as needed.

• Operate equipment safely and efficiently.
• Keep time and material records.
• Follow verbal and written instructions.
• Communicate effectively on the radio system.
• Load and unload large quantities of water for compaction and/or dust control.
• Ensure the efficient working condition of the equipment and perform minor servicing and maintenance; refer major problems to the supervisor.
• Be able to lift and move 10 to 30 lbs and perform related driving tasks (climb, sit/drive, shift gears, cover/uncover loads, change wheels, adjust lugs, use hand tools).
• Maintain awareness of safety and quality during all operations.

• Class A license.

• The driver is responsible for loading and unloading large quantities of water for compaction and/or dust control.
• The driver is responsible for the efficient working condition of the equipment and is expected to perform minor servicing and maintenance or refer major problems to the supervisor.
