Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Truck Dispatcher to coordinate our client's daily transportation operations, manage driver schedules, and ensure timely deliveries. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and capable of handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities- Dispatch and coordinate drivers, equipment, and freight.
- Monitor shipments and provide updates to drivers, customers, and brokers.
- Schedule pickups and deliveries while maximizing fleet efficiency.
- Resolve delivery, routing, and scheduling issues.
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company policies.
- Maintain accurate dispatch records and load information.
- 5+ years of truck dispatching or logistics experience.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
- Knowledge of freight operations, routing, and load planning.
- Experience with dispatch software, load boards, and GPS tracking systems.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday–Friday, with occasional after‑hours support.
