Medical Courier

Lab Corp is seeking a Courier to join our team in Mobile, AL. This route covers client sites in Mobile, Saraland, Bay Minette, Daphne, Fairhope, and Foley.

Monday – Friday 3:30 pm – 12:30 pm. Holidays are required and are considered overtime pay.

• Load all necessary supplies for the daily pickups.
• Complete the daily pickup schedule in a timely manner.
• Deliver all daily pickups to your branch at the end of your shift.
• Handle all specimens and lab samples in a safe and efficient manner.
• Safely operate a company vehicle and obey all traffic laws.
• Utilize a handheld electronic device to manage daily pickups.
• Work directly with the dispatcher for additional pickups as needed.
• Evaluate traffic patterns, alternative routes, and weather conditions as needed.

• No education or experience required.

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• 1 year or more of driver or courier experience.
• 1 year or more of customer service experience.

• Very punctual with strong time management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to problem‑solve customer issues.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.
• Be at least 21 years old.

Employees scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits, including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement, and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Employees scheduled to work less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan.

All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.

Included with this position is a company vehicle for the route. For an additional $125 per month, you may take the vehicle home for personal use.
