Material Handler - Loxley, AL

Job Summary

Material Handler position in Loxley, AL. Shift 8:30am–5pm, starting pay $21 per hour. Eligible for benefits within 30days of employment. The role involves handling parts, inventory, shipments, and maintaining safety and clean‑in‑initiative standards.

• Properly position bar coding on all incoming parts and equipment.
• Allocate required parts to job/work orders and complete requisitions for parts shortages.
• Fulfill work orders via pick sheets and pallet stacking.
• Receive packing slips and verify quantities for parts against purchase orders.
• Responsible for the shipment of parts to customers.
• Collect and properly package inventory and purchased items needing shipment.
• Accurately audit picked orders to prepare for shipment.
• Safely load outbound shipments.
• Must comply with the company’s safety policies and clean initiative standards.
• Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned.

• Prior warehouse experience.
• Pallet jack/forklift experience.
• Experience with wireless inventory system (desired).
• Experience with UPS or Fed Ex shipments (desired).
• Basic computer skills.
• Good attention to detail.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Positive energy while working in a team setting.
• Technical knowledge.
