Do you enjoy preparing fresh food, creating attractive displays, and helping customers find exactly what they need? We're looking for a Deli & Bakery Specialist to help deliver high-quality products and exceptional customer service in our fresh departments.

In this role, you'll prepare deli and bakery products, assist customers, merchandise fresh items, maintain food safety standards, and help keep the department clean, organized, and fully stocked. • Deliver friendly, helpful, and timely customer service.
• Assist customers with product selection, special orders, and recommendations.
• Answer questions and provide product knowledge to help customers make purchasing decisions.
• Help create a positive shopping experience for every customer.

• Prepare deli and bakery products according to company standards.
• Prepare special orders, party trays, and decorated bakery items as needed.
• Operate deli and bakery equipment safely, including slicers, ovens, fryers, scales, and other department equipment.
• Maintain attractive, fresh, and well-stocked displays throughout the day.

• Receive and inspect incoming products for quality and accuracy.
• Stock, rotate, and merchandise products in deli cases, bakery displays, coolers, and freezers.
• Maintain accurate pricing, signage, and promotional displays.
• Assist with product sampling and promotional events.
• Monitor inventory levels, record shrink, and maintain organized back stock.

• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
• Maintain clean prep areas, equipment, coolers, and freezers.
• Handle products safely to ensure freshness and quality.
• Support department goals for cleanliness, organization, and operational excellence.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous grocery, deli, bakery, food service, or customer service experience preferred.
• Food safety certification (Serv Safe® or equivalent) preferred.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift throughout the workday.
• Ability to regularly lift up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable working in refrigerated and freezer environments.
• Ability to safely operate deli and bakery equipment.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
