Surveillance Technician

SUMMARY:

As a Surveillance Technician, you will be responsible for the repairs, installation, run cables and maintenance of the Surveillance departments equipment.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Surveillance Technician will repair, install and maintain Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) systems, digital Network Video Recorders (NVR) system, Access Control System, all surveillance cameras (Analog & IP), and analog/digital CCTV components.

Install and maintain Fiber Optics.

Upgrade computer/NVR software and hardware. Complete administrative tasks using various technology and software.

Drive/Operate company vehicles to complete surveillance work on or off property (Use Scissor lift, Boom lift, use ladders).Will monitor the drop in accordance with slot drop procedures

Surveillance Technician will also perform other duties as assigned by the Security Director.

Employee shall comply with all BSA/AML regulations, reporting, and training requirements – Specifically those in the Grand River Casino Written System of Internal Controls (and appendices) for BSA/AML Compliance.

PREREQUISITES:

Must be 21 years of age or older. Must qualify for a Standing Rock Sioux Tribal Key license. Must have 20/20 corrected vision and not be color blind. Must have or be able to attain CPR, First Aid and A.E.D training certificates. Must have a valid drivers license.

EDUCATION:

High school graduate or GED.

EXPERIENCE:

Two (2) years of experience working with Closed Circuit Television (CCTV). Two (2) years of experience working with Digital Network Video Recorder (DNVR) systems. Must be proficient at the use of the computer programs Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.

PHYSICAL:

Must be physically able to withstand continued walking, standing, kneeling and lifting for periods of 8 hours or more and lift 50+lbs on one or more occasions.
