Senior Accountant
We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to support financial reporting, account reconciliations, month-end close, audit preparation, and regulatory compliance in a regulated financial services environment. This role will partner with accounting leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure accurate reporting, strong internal controls, and compliance with GAAP and applicable regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead complex account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
- Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities
- Prepare journal entries, financial reports, and variance analyses
- Assist with audits, exams, and regulatory filings
- Maintain accounting documentation, procedures, and internal controls
- Support accounting for investments, loan activity, and cash settlement processes
- Collaborate across departments to ensure accurate financial reporting
- Provide guidance and review support for accounting staff
