Immediate need for a talented Administrative Assistant– Healthcare Operations
.

This is a 06+ months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Modesto, CA (
Onsite
).

Job : 26-15245

Pay Range: $22.20–$25/hour. Traveler benefits as per agency package. (Benefits vary by vendor and assignment.)

Key Responsibilities
  • Process referrals for home health agencies and coordinate patient start‑of‑care scheduling
  • Provide administrative support to healthcare staff and department leadership
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation
  • Prepare spreadsheets, presentations, and correspondence using Microsoft Office
  • Coordinate office activities and manage high‑volume administrative workflows
  • Communicate professionally with physicians, patients, clients, and team members
  • Utilize network computer systems, email, internet, and internal applications
  • Support scheduling, tracking, and office coordination activities
Key Requirements and Technology Experience
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Minimum 2 years of administrative or office support experience preferred
  • Intermediate proficiency with:
  • Microsoft Excel
  • Microsoft Word
  • Microsoft Power Point
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Ability to work accurately in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Professional customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Healthcare, medical office, hospital, or patient access experience
  • Referral coordination or scheduling experience
  • Experience supporting clinical or operational teams
