Civil and General Construction Project Manager and Estimator

We are seeking an experienced Civil and General Construction Project Manager and Estimator to lead heavy civil and general construction projects from bid through completion. This is a senior, hands-on role for a construction professional who takes pride in accountability, quality workmanship, and building strong teams.

This position plays a critical role in project success and client satisfaction and is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast paced, high ownership environment.

• Lead projects from award through closeout including budgeting, scheduling, cost control, and change management
• Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates by reviewing plans, specifications, site conditions, and subcontractor pricing
• Track project costs, review invoices, and ensure financial accuracy throughout the project lifecycle
• Coordinate subcontractors, internal trades, and field teams to maintain schedules and quality standards
• Collect and review daily reports, job site photos, safety documentation, and progress updates
• Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations including OSHA, MSHA, EPA, and applicable local requirements
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, inspectors, and project stakeholders through clear communication and professionalism

• Minimum 20 years of experience in heavy civil or general construction
• Demonstrated project management experience required with estimating experience strongly preferred
• Strong leadership, communication, organization, and follow up skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Team oriented mindset with a strong commitment to safety, quality, and accountability

This position is classified as exempt under California wage and hour laws. Compensation is based on experience, skills, and qualifications and falls within the stated range.
