- Making our patients feel as welcomed guests to the office
- Practice Covid-19 Protocols
- Ability to build a rapport with patients and co-workers
- Insurance terminology is preferred
- Knowledge with Dentrix, Eagle-soft, Open-Dental, or any Dental software
- Perform Insurance verifications
- Answer telephones in professional courteous manner to patients and coworkers using superior customer service skills.
- Provide necessary instructions/directions to patients and politely answer questions
- Build financial agreements from the treatment plan.
- Review with Dental Insurance on coverages and limitations
- Present Treatment plans to the patient using appropriate terminology in an organized professional manner
- Follow up on denials, appeals and insurance requests for additional information
- Examine EOBs or answer any billing questions patients may have
- Review patient charts and notes for the next working day
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- One or more years of experience as a treatment coordinator in a dental practice is preferred
- Ability to understand insurance plans is preferred
- Knowledge of Microsoft and QSI software applications is preferred
