Required Skills:

• Proven experience in open-heart surgery, thoracic surgery, and vascular procedures
• Ability to perform complex cardiovascular and thoracic surgeries with precision
• Strong knowledge of surgical protocols, patient safety, and aseptic techniques
• Excellent intraoperative decision-making and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to work in high-pressure, fast-paced environments, including trauma call situations

• Experience with minimally invasive cardiac and vascular procedures
• Familiarity with advanced surgical technologies and robotic-assisted surgery
• Participation in ongoing professional development and certifications in cardiothoracic surgery

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
• Board certification or eligibility in Cardiothoracic Surgery
• Minimum of 3 years of post-residency surgical experience in relevant specialties
• Prior experience working in emergency or trauma settings is a plus

• Valid medical licensure in applicable state(s)
• Current proficiency in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS)
• Willingness to participate in emergency on-call rotations for trauma and cardiovascular emergencies
• Commitment to maintaining up-to-date certifications and continued education
