Pay Rate
$16.90/hr - $19.90/hr Non-Teaching Rate and up to $29.70/hr Total Teaching Rate depending on background and experience.

As a Music Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching music lessons to students according to the Guitar Center Lessons curriculum. You will work to increase student count ensuring each student continues to grow, develop, and enjoys playing music all while nurturing our culture of integrity, inclusion, musical passion, and respect.

Impact AreasStore Culture & Excellence
- Partner with store Lessons Lead to schedule and retain student headcount based on community needs.
- Teach students utilizing the Guitar Center Lessons Curriculum.
- Assist with Customer service as needed, building long term student relationships.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Student & Parent Partnership
- Partner with students and families through frequent communication, building trust, and respecting parents’ knowledge.
- Communicate with students and/or parents of students on progress.
- Share student and/or parent goals and progress frequently.
- Previous experience in Music, Education, or related field.
- Ability to teach the instrument that you are proficient in such as Drums, Guitar, Keyboard, etc.
- Skillfully demonstrate competency in the area you will be teaching.
