Position OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Psychologist to join our team in Modesto, CA. This full-time role involves working closely with students, educators, and families to assess needs, develop intervention strategies, and support student well-being and academic achievement.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive psycho educational assessments and interpret results
- Participate in the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 Plans
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention services to students
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to implement effective interventions
- Support behavior management strategies and positive behavioral interventions (PBIS)
- Monitor student progress and adjust supports as needed
- Ensure compliance with state and federal special education regulations
- Maintain accurate documentation and timely reporting
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
- Valid California Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) Credential in School Psychology
- Strong knowledge of special education laws and assessment practices
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Experience in a school setting preferred
- Competitive pay based on experience, ranging from $42.88 to $72.88 per hour
