Due to the personal privacy interests and physical welfare of the minor students being supervised, being male is a Bona Fide Occupational Qualification (BFOQ) for this specific role pursuant to 2 CCR #11031" ADDITIONAL DOCUMENTS:
The following items are not required at the time of application but will be required of the selected applicant prior to employment:
Copy of Valid Driver's License, Department of Justice Fingerprint clearance, Tuberculosis Skin Test clearance, Pre-Employment Physical/Drug Screen clearance, First Aid and CPR certification. Must be at least 18 years of age.

Comments and Other Information

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Any combination equivalent to graduation from high school. Experience (paid or volunteer) working in an instructional, community, clinic or home setting with elementary or middle school-aged children.

Experience with outdoor education programs, camps or youth-group activities is highly desirable. LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
* A current standard First Aid Certificate and CPR certification are required at the time of appointment.
* Valid Driver's License.
* Requires driving a SCOE vehicle.
* Must provide proof of insurance. BENEFITS: A Benefit Entitlement for health, dental and vision coverage is available for positions that are at least 4 hours per day.
