Part Time Faculty office Hours are paid at a flat rate of $30 per hour.

Not Eligible for Benefits. With the exception of Workers’ Compensation coverage, not eligible to participate in the District’s benefit programs.

Under supervision of the Dean of Health Professions, teach Vocational Nursing courses in accordance with course descriptions, outlines and class schedules. Evaluate progress of students, advise students concerning educational matters, and participate in activities that strengthen student success. The Vocational Nursing program is a hybrid evening program with face‑to‑face in person labs.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Any bachelor’s degree and two years of professional experience, or any associate degree and six years of professional experience. At least one‑year continuous, full time or its equivalent experience in the designated nursing area within the previous five years as a registered nurse providing direct patient care. Recent experience may include teaching in the area of nursing.
