Child Development Program Assistant
Under supervision and the direction of the Program Supervisor, performs the necessary duties to assist in the planning and implementation of a comprehensive full year child development program for infants/toddlers and preschoolers.
Requirements / QualificationsEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Graduation from high school required. Enrollment in an Associate or Bachelor degree program preferred. One year experience working with children in an educational setting preferred. Enrollment in Associates or Bachelor's degree program in child development or related field preferred. Three to six units infant/toddler care development required based on Permit held. The following documents are required at the time of application:
California Child Development Associate Teacher Permit or higher level permit. Pediatric CPR/First Aid Certification - in person training required. California Child Development Associate Teacher Permit or high level permit. Three (3) units infant/toddler care and development required. Transcripts with infant/toddler units. (SPECIAL
