Outdoor Education Supervisor

Basic Function:
Under the supervision of the Director of Outdoor Education, provides overnight supervision of students and volunteer counselors in the cabins at the outdoor education school; initiates and oversees recreational, social and group living activities.

The following items are not required at the time of application but will be required of the selected applicant prior to employment:
Copy of Valid Driver's License, Department of Justice Fingerprint clearance, Tuberculosis Skin Test clearance, Pre-Employment Physical/Drug Screen clearance, First Aid and CPR certification. Must be at least 18 years of age.

Education and Experience:

Any combination equivalent to graduation from high school. Experience (paid or volunteer) working in an instructional, community, clinic or home setting with elementary or middle school-aged children.

Experience with outdoor education programs, camps or youth-group activities is highly desirable. Licenses and Other Requirements:
* A current standard First Aid Certificate and CPR certification are required at the time of appointment.
* Valid Driver's License.
* Requires driving a SCOE vehicle.
* Must provide proof of insurance. Benefits: A Benefit Entitlement for health, dental and vision coverage is available for positions that are at least 4 hours per day.
