Special Education Teacher
Under the direction of an assigned administrator, provide a special education classroom for severely handicapped students to instruct and demonstrate essential skills and information necessary for functioning as independently as possible.
Requirements / QualificationsThe following documents are required at the time of application:
• Copy of valid California teaching credential authorizing service to severely handicapped students OR appropriate intern-eligible letter from college/university OR intern program status letter, clearly stating what applicant is eligible for.
• Copy of CLAD certification or English Learner Authorization
• Copy of Transcripts Recommended documents:
• Letter of Interest
• Resume
• Letter of Recommendation(s)
Education and experience:
Bachelor's degree. Special education teaching experience preferred. AB 2534:
Previous certificated employment must be listed by district, including substitute teaching.
Additional information:
