Part Time Faculty office Hours are paid at a flat rate of $30 per hour.

With the exception of Workers’ Compensation coverage, not eligible to participate in the District’s benefit programs.
The successful candidate will join the Elementary Teacher Education Department to (a) teach existing curriculum both face-to-face and online to increase student access, (b) coordinate the development of the program, including advising a student club, creating teaching pathways, and working together with other faculty to increase contextualized teaching for courses in the program, and © work collaboratively with elementary schools, Stan State, and other institutions to promote the development of future teachers in our service area.
Minimum Qualifications:MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Master’s in Education OR the equivalent.

Knowledge of and ability to appraise the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural and ethnic backgrounds of community college students. Sensitivity to the needs, problems and challenges associated with the diversity of the community college student population.
PHYSICAL AND MENTAL STANDARDS- Mobility: ability to sit or stand for long periods, move about an office, and reach above and below desk level.
- Dexterity: fine manipulation sufficient to operate a keyboard, handle individual papers, write and take notes.
