ICC Special Inspector

NOVA Engineering & Environmental, is seeking ICC Special Inspectors. We are looking for a self-motivated individual with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.

Primary duties performing structural building inspections and QA/QC tests (soils, masonry, reinforced concrete, structural steel, post-tensioning, fireproofing, etc.). Some travel may be required. The position will be predominantly field located.

• Perform Inspections in accordance with code and project requirements
• Interpret project plans and specifications and ensure project requirements are being met.
• Activities will include performing field testing and inspections
• Review plans and specifications, performing the inspections accordingly
• Communicate results with contractors, engineers and others
• Input results and observations into daily reports

• 3+ years construction materials testing and inspection experience required
• ICC Certifications in any of the following:
  • Reinforced Concrete
  • Structural Steel & Bolting
  • Structural Welding
  • Structural Masonry
  • Soils
• Proof of Clean Driving Record
